A MAN who subjected a prostitute to a two-and-a-half hour sex ordeal in the back of his car was jailed for seven years yesterday.
A jury at Teesside Crown Court took an hour and ten minutes to return a guilty verdict on Peter Thompson.
Thompson, 20, of Portman Street, Middlesbrough, had denied rape and witness intimidation, but admitted a charge of driving while disqualified.
The jury heard he had picked the prostitute up in August 2000 and she agreed to have sex for £30 at Cannon Park Industrial Estate, Middlesbrough.
But, because she told him to hurry up, Thompson lost his temper and, over two-and-a-half hours, raped her and forced other "sexual indignities".
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said he threatened to kill her.
Dan Cordey, for Thompson, said his client had no convictions for violence or for sex offences and was 19 at the time of the offence.
Judge Anthony Briggs ordered Thompson to be placed on the sex offenders' register
