A COMMUNITY is cashing in on a former bank building weeks after it opened as resource centre for information and learning.
Organisations are moving into the former Barclays branch, in Willington High Street, which has been renovated by the town's community partnership.
Bishop Auckland College has equipped an upstairs classroom with the computers and is planning a wide range of courses.
Career advice, a service for single parents wanting to start work, and guidance on other issues from range of bodies is also available.
Temporary co-ordinator Denis Edwards is encouraging more people to use the centre, including solicitors and accountants.
People can call in or contact him by telephone on (01388) 742000
