Women offered stress relief

A STRESS management course for women is being run at a health club in Teesside. Stockton Borough Council has teamed up with Bannatyne's in Ingleby Barwick to run the course. It will look at the causes and symptoms of stress, as well as ways of coping with stress through relaxation and exercise. The free course is funded through the European Social Fund on the Championing Women's Learning Project. It runs for ten weeks and starts on Tuesday, April 16, from 9.30am to 11.30am.

ART DISPLAY: Hartlepool Art Club will hold an exhibition of paintings in Grange Road Methodist Church, Tankerville Street, Hartlepool, on Saturday, April 13. The exhibition is open from 10am and 5pm and admission is £3.

Free parking: There will be free car parking in Redcar and Guisborough over Easter, from today until Tuesday. The six days of concessions will cover more than 1,000 parking places in the two towns, on-street and off-street, short stay and long stay.

Temporary lights: There will be temporary lights on the Saltburn Road junction with Marine Parade, Saltburn, for three weeks for visibility improvement works by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

Bus changes: There will be changes to BoroughBus services in Redcar and Cleveland from Sunday. The main changes are the replacement of evening and Sunday service 626 by the 741 between Guisborough and Eston and the re-routing of daytime service 759, from New Marske.
