SOUVENIRS of two of the region's landmarks went on sale at the weekend.
A mobile information centre was based in the shadow of the Angel of the North, Gateshead, so people could view the Gateshead Borough Council merchandise.
The keepsakes, of the Angel sculpture and the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, include sweatshirts, t-shirts, mugs, computer mousemats and watches.
