THE funeral of a former company managing director will be held next week.
Jack Capeling died at his home in Heighington, near Darlington, on April 29.
A well known industry figure, he retired in 1982 after 35 years at Smart and Brown's engineering company, in Spennymoor, and its subsidiaries.
The service will be held at St Michael's Church, Heighington, at 1pm on Tuesday.
He leaves a wife Ada, and children June and Valerie.
The family has requested donations, if desired, to be sent to the Parkinson Disease Society, care of Seaton Leng and Son, Bondgate, Darlington.
