NEW strips will help a Darlington school rugby team put on a good show in a national competition.
Carmel RC Technology College will represent the area in the finals of the national schools tournament at Twickenham this weekend.
After winning the Durham 12-a-side tournament to qualify for the finals, the under-13 team raised £3,000 for accommodation, travel and strips.
The team also won the county 15-a-side title and the Bishop Auckland Schools league.
