PEOPLE planning a trip to the tip in Darlington at the weekend are being warned about roadworks delays.
This weekend is traditionally a busy time at Darlington's Drinkfield civic amenity site.
There will be roadworks with traffic control on Whessoe Road, south of the site over the weekend and for the next few weeks.
If people approach the site from the south they are likely to meet traffic queues and congestion.
People are advised to either avoid using the site at the weekend or to approach it from the north, via Burtree Lane.
