STUDENTS from an east Cleveland college have narrowly missed out on a national volleyball title.
It was the first time a mixed volleyball team from Prior Pursglove College, in Guisborough, had entered the competition and the college was delighted with the team's success.
The finals were held in Blackburn last week and although Prior beat St Mary's Blackburn comfortably, they lost out to Brockenhurst College in the final round.
The team comprised Jaclyn McCabe, Sarah Brown, Zarah Rasool, Luke Johnson, Paul Anderson, Dan Martinez and Eddie Swain.
