A SCHOOLGIRL was found dead at her home yesterday.
The 12-year-old is thought to have died of natural causes and there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the discovery, said a police spokesman.
Her body was discovered at her home in the Jarrow area of South Tyneside, but police were not releasing any personal details.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "A post mortem has concluded that death was due to natural causes and that there are no suspicious circumstances. The coroner has been informed."
