RESIDENTS in an area of Darlington are to benefit from a £2,000 grant which has been awarded to a community group.
Cockerton and Branksome Living Enterprise (Cable) hopes to expand its work in the Cockerton West area with the help of the money from the Abbey National bank.
Anne McGrath, Cable's program manager, accepted the cheque at the group's One-Stop Resource Centre, in Whitby Way, and thanked Abbey National for the gift.
