SWD Veterans League

There was a couple of major shocks in the Preliminary Round of the team Knock Out when King George V beat the visiting Cockton Hill A and Shildon Railway A beat Willington.

Cockton Hill A are in second place in the First Division and visited King George V, who are without a league win to date and only two points to their credit. However the home side lifted their game and produced a 65 shots to 41 victory.

Willington, who were promoted to the First Division, entertained Shildon Railway A, who were relegated to the Second Division but the formbook went out of the window when the visitors won 77-45.
