HEROIN with a street value of up to £40,000 and a quantity of cocaine was recovered and five people were arrested in a police raid on Tyneside.
A number of officers were involved in the raid on the Geordie Ridley pub, in The Precinct, Blaydon, Gateshead, at 7pm on Thursday. They arrested four men and a woman for suspected drug dealing. Three men continue to help with inquiries while the fourth man and the woman were released on police bail.
