PEOPLE can try their hands at various artistic activities from henna tattooing to circus skills at an arts fair in Chester-le-Street this weekend.
Workshops will be taking place throughout the town on Saturday, when Bullion Hall community centre is staging a range of Educational Arts Taster Sessions (Eats).
The community hall, which has just reopened after a £50,000 revamp, will be running circus skills for children and storytelling between 10am and 2pm, while the Empower centre for adults with learning difficulties on Waldridge Road will be running music therapy, crafts for pre-school children and photography, as well as a creche and buffet.
People can also try their hand at henna tattooing at The Cookson Hotel on Cookson Street, or cartoon animation and computer skills at The Hermitage School on Waldridge Lane.
There will be more activities at the same venues on Wednesday, next week.
