FOSTERING officers and carers are using pedal power to promote fostering.
Eleven are going on a 150-mile cycle through the county from tomorrow to Sunday, setting off from Consett and finishing at the Seaham Hall Hotel, Seaham.
Durham County Council fostering manager Florence Coulter said they wanted to make people think about volunteering.
An information evening will be held at Durham County Cricket Club, Chester-le-Street, on Tuesday at 7pm. For information about fostering call (01325) 300020.
