AN open lecture is being held as part of a drive to raise the profile of Freemasonry.
To coincide with Freemasonry in the Community Week, the Universities Lodge of Durham is organising an open lecture at the Durham University Business School, Durham, at 6pm on Thursday.
Sheffield University Professor Andrew Prescott, director of the Centre for Research into Freemasonry, will present a lecture on Freemasonry and the Problem of Britain, tracing the history of Freemasonry from 1717 to the 1900s
