POLICE are appealing for information after a hit-and-run incident in which a blind man was struck by a vehicle.
The incident happened on Wednesday, June 19, as the 73-year-old man was attempting to cross Benwell Lane, Benwell, in Newcastle, at its junction with Atkinson Road, with his guide dog.
A vehicle first struck the right side of his arm then ran over his foot, before making off, leaving him with minor injuries.
