A 31-year-old Teesside died today after a fight outside a supermarket.
Peter David Cronin, of Crowland Avenue, Middlesbrough, was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital on Wednesday afternoon with head injuries after the incident outside the Lidl store in Cargo Fleet Lane, North Ormesby.
He died today and a post-mortem was due to be carried out late afternoon.
A 23-year-old male security officer was arrested by police but has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, which occurred just before 1pm.
