Spennymoor Half Moon recovered well from their trouncing at Trimdon to force a very creditable draw against the visiting Stockton Elm Tree in the only league match of the week.
Most of the players took the week off for some serious practice ready for the World Championship Doubles on Saturday, 20 July and the World Championship Singles on Sunday, 21 July with both events taking place at Beamish Museum
