Crook Town aim to complete the double over Langley Park and exact revenge for the defeat they suffered in early May.

Since then, they have gone 11 games unbeaten and moved up to third position following victories over championship rivals Esh Winning and Evenwood in the last couple of weeks.

"We have played really well since losing to Evenwood and Langley Park in the first three weeks of the season and we are now in with a chance of the championship," claimed fixture secretary David Greener.

"Even though we have had more games called off because of the weather than our rivals, we are third from top just 29 points adrift of Evenwood so everything is to play for."

Crook are extremely pleased with the form of 18-year old left-arm spinner Michael Fawcett who returned a creditable 3-17 from 12 overs in last week's victory at Esh Winning. Unfortunately from their point of view, he is unavailable today.

Ian Greener deputises but he is unable to play on Sunday when Neil Davis is drafted into the side.

Langley Park captain Stephen Gray has Philip Daughtry resuming for Michael White this afternoon and tomorrow he is minus Daughtry, Greg Coates and Simon Huscroft, who is ineligible because he played in an earlier round for Crook.

"We are looking forward to the double weekend. It is the first time Langley Park have reached the final of the League Cup for 21 years and we have a score to settle with Crook since they won that match," said Gray, who is in his second season as skipper.

Brandon, aiming to finish in the top four, field a strong side for the visit of Shildon with brothers Michael and David Fort, Dean Storey and Tony Keogan all resuming. Scott Hopson, though, is sidelined with a broken finger he sustained in last week's match at Sedgefield.

Shildon are weakened by the absence of Gary Davies and Les Neesham and line up Martin Horner and Paul Charlton as they attempt to win for the first time.

Evenwood have a free day and Kimblesworth will take over at the top if they win at Willington, who field the same side which won at Shildon last weekend when Neil Barfuss struck form with both bat and ball.

Esh Winning need to see off the challenge from Etherley if they are to keep alive their championship aspirations. Graham Hurst is ruled out and replaced by his son Chris while Andrew Coulson comes in for skipper Ian Dixon.

Mainsforth hand a debut to former Darlington player Danny Morgans when they visit Tudhoe and Wayne Firbank also lines up.

John Cavanagh and Scott Wallace, however, are unavailable while Tudhoe cannot include David Ronson.

Ushaw Moor will have their full bowling strength available for the first time in some weeks when skipper Michael Hayton returns from injury to join the attack with Brendan Jackson, Stephen Hancock and professional Sanjay Raul in the home fixture with Sedgefield.

Ian Bell, who has played with Sedgefield for a number of years, has moved to Cardiff and in addition both Martin Moore and Martin Lowe cannot play today. James Foster and Mark Jemmerson are drafted into the line-up.
