Chester-le-Street enjoyed a big victory when they visited Seaham Harbour who could only make 29 for the loss of seven wickets replying to the Cestrians total of 114 for eight.

McTaggert claimed three for 12 and Mason two for 11 in the visitor's attack and when Chester-le-Street batted first they were indebted to Martin Stephenson (30) and Mason (22) who led their side to the impressive of 114 for eight. Michael Bell took two for 25, Alan Cook two for ten and Scott Sherrif three for 26 in the Seaham Harbour attack.

Hetton Lyons lost by 43 runs when they met Gateshead Fell who batting first ended with 117 for five, Mujid scored more than half the Fell total finishing with 50 and in the Hetton Lyons attack Owen Gwyn took four of the five wickets to go down for only 25 runs. Despite an unbeaten 49 by Mattie Kane, the Lyons replied with just 74 for the loss of one wickets.

Gavin Pattison Cup

Darlington went down by six wickets when they met Sacriston. Despite an unbeaten 39 by Thomas, the Feethams side could only muster 92 for six as Chris Tilley bowled an economical five overs for Sacriston during which he claimed three for only 14 runs.

Replying Sacriston had Mark Fort and Chris Hindmarsh in good form with the bat. Fort top scored with 27 and Hindmarsh added 20 as Sacriston won losing just four wickets.

Willis Elliott Cup

former Annfield Plain junior Graham Carr led Burnopfield to a six wickets victory when the sides met. Faced with a target of 111, Burnopfield were grateful to Carr who started the season with Annfield Plain. He made the game's top score of 74 as Burnopfield replied with 114 for four despite Chris Robinson claiming three for 26 runs in the Plain attack.

Batting first, Annfield Plain were all out for 110 which included 36 by Chris Robinson. Adam Tinnion conceded just six runs taking three wickets and Richard Deacon returned three for 27 for the home side.
