POLICE have named the victim of an accident in which a car rolled 40ft down an embankment.
Nancy Ward, 73, of Skelton, in east Cleveland, died on Wednesday afternoon when her Suzuki car left the road in Saltburn.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened opposite Balmoral Road in Glenside at about 4.40pm.
No other cars were involved and police said it was still not clear if Mrs Ward died in the accident or shortly before it.
