TWO classic shows for children are to be staged at Nunnington Hall, the National Trust property near Helmsley this weekend.
Openwide Productions is staging a new adaptation of Beatrix Potter's The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse on Friday.
And on Saturday it will be performing a new version of The Pied Piper, with plenty of participation from youngsters in the audience.
Visitor services assistant Helen Young said: "This is something new for Nunnington and we are keen that families have a really fun night."
On each of the afternoons the theatre company is also running workshops for budding young actors.
The shows start at 6pm with the gates opening at 5.30pm and all tickets are £6.
Workshops start at 1.30pm and cost £5 and booking is essential. Contact (01439) 748283 for further details
