CHILDREN hunted high and low for creepy crawlies yesterday at a wildlife fun day in Middlesbrough.
Youngsters aged between five and seven took part in the free event at Lingfield Farm Countryside Centre, Coulby Newham.
Centre assistant Graeme Shimmin said the session was aimed at introducing young children to the countryside.
He said: "The days are fun and exciting and guaranteed to relieve the boredom of the summer holidays."
Two more wildlife days will take place on August 14 and 21, between 2pm and 4pm. To book a place call Mr Shimmin on (01642) 577325.
