AN industrial software firm has appointed a new software engineer.
Lynn Jamieson, 36, is due to take up the post at Hexatec, in Hexham, Northumberland.
She joins the firm from British Airways in Newcastle, where she was responsible for maintaining and updating two major databases.
She said: "I like the job because it appeals to my sense of logic. I am continually being presented with problems and I get tremendous satisfaction from finding solutions."
Dick Haycock, Hexatec director, says: "Her expertise in the creation and management of databases will be beneficial to existing customers who require manufacturing data to be organised into easy to digest formats.
