Kirby Sigston maintained their position at the top of the table with a huge victory over Scruton who were all out for just 27.

Clarkson did most of the damage to the visitors' innings when he captured seven wickets for a meagre 12 runs and Cowton took two for 16.

In contrast, runs flowed when Kirby Sigston batted first. Despite losing a three early wickets they ended with 189 for six on the board which included 42 by Thompson and a fine innings of 91 from Clarkson. Oxley was the most productive bowler in the Scruton attack taking three of the six wickets to go down for 52 runs and Barratt had two for 76.

East Harlsey are second and they inflicted a ten wickets defeat on Swainby who faired only marginally better than Scruton had done. Swainby laboured through 18.3 overs making 40 all out with Andy Mold capturing six wickets for 17 runs in nine overs and John Grainge picking up four wickets for 22 from the 9.3 overs which he sent down. In response East Harlsey needed 7.3 overs and did not concede a wicket as they hurried to victory. John Hunter scored most of the runs hitting one six and three boundaries in an unbeaten 30 and his opening partner Hodgson scored five runs with extras making up the balance.
