Colin Everson continued his successful return to marathon running by finishing the Nottingham Marathon in a time of 3 hrs. 8 mins. which placed him high up in the 45-50 age category.
John Howells also rolled back the years by finishing in the top third and 9th in the 0'50 category in a half - ironman triathlon in Wales which consisted of a 1900 metre swim , 56 mile cycle & half marathon run in a total time of 5 hrs. 22 mins .
As if that was not enough John wound-down 7 days later by finishing 9th overall in the Cockermouth Sprint Triathlon in a total time of 68 mins.
