A teenager is facing trial in front of a judge and jury after an incident in which a water-filled condom smashed through the windscreen of a car.
Tom Saville, 18, was remanded on bail by Harrogate magistrates today to make an initial appearance at York Crown Court next Friday.
Saville, of The Green, Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, is accused of intentionally causing £500 damage to a car windscreen in Ripon on September 8 and being reckless as to whether the lives of Keiron and Deborah Perry would be endangered by his actions.
