This local derby saw visitors Darlington Cleveland Bridge taking the lead through Duane Beagle after only 14 minutes. Home side Darlington Simpson Rolling Mills keeper Andrew Price was kept busy and his efforts were rewarded five minutes before half time when Daniel Thorns made it all square at 1-1, just before half time the home side took the lead through Daniel O'Neil. but Paul Lowe put through his own goal to give the teams a share of the points.
SMG Redst's 4 Darlington RA Res 0
Billingham side SMG Redstripes completely dominated their meeting with Darlington RA Reserves and took a 10th minute lead through Alex Degiorgis, worst was to follow for the visitors five minutes later when they were reduced to ten men. The Billingham side were now well on top and they doubled their lead in the 25th minute through John Adamson. In the second half the home side dominated the match and a great volley from Lee Johnston made it 3-0 before man of the match Degiorgis rounded of the scoring.
