A STORE is celebrating its 101st birthday and the first anniversary of its £1.7m revamp.
Since the revamp of the Marks and Spencer store in Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough, 27 new workers have been taken on.
The upgrade - the third since 1993 - brings the total spending on improving the original 1901 building to about £8m.
