A cosmetics company has turned to a North-East computer equipment manufacturer to help make the working lives of its shipping department staff more comfortable.
Monitor specialist Grorud, of Consett, County Dur-ham, has supplied a series of adjustable monitor stands for Milton Lloyd, which is based in London. The stands can be raised or lowered by up to four inches to suit users' individual needs.
The new system has proved so popular with employees that Milton Lloyd is considering adopting it throughout the rest of its organisation.
Barrie Glibbery, of Milton Lloyd, said: "The height of our office furniture meant that all our PCs were too low to be used comfortably over a long period of time.
Grorud has also clinched a similar deal - to supply stands to libraries across County Durham.
