A 45-year-old man was kept in hospital with serious head injuries after a road accident in Norton High Street.
The incident happened at 5.55pm on Saturday when the man was involved in an accident with a Vauxhall Frontera car. He was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees. The driver was unhurt.
