A SUPERMARKET creating more than 300 jobs opens in Billingham on Monday.
The superstore makes Tesco one of the biggest employers in the area.
Ian Backhouse, store manager, said: "It is wonderful to see people taking up a career with Tesco, the response has been excellent.
"With the jobs we have created in the area, we have established a dedicated team of staff committed to ensuring customers enjoy their shopping trip."
The store is on the Leeholme Industrial Estate and will open at 8am on Monday.
