AN engineering graduate has been recognised for his achievements with an academic honour.
Steven Rohan, from Witton Gilbert, has been awarded an Institution of Mechanical Engineers' scholarship.
The award was made because of his academic achievements.
Mr Rohan, 24, was awarded a first-class BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering at .Newcastle University.
He received a Whitworth Scholarship Award worth £3,000 a year while an undergraduate.
