FATHERS and their children will have the chance to win Sunderland Football Club prizes at free quizzes.
Organised by the City of Durham Single Regeneration Bid Six group and Sunderland AFC Foundation, the quizzes are at Bowburn Youth Project, from 7pm, on Wednesday, December 4, and St Andrew's Church Hall, Brandon, from 7pm on December 5.
Teams will have the chance of winning a season ticket for Sunderland AFC and a tour of the Stadium of Light, and there will be three runners-up gift bags containing a match ticket and other prizes.
Glen Duckett, of the City of Durham's SRB6 community team, said they were aimed at bringing fathers and their children closer together.
"Through the power of football, we hope to be able to encourage fathers to spend more time having fun with their kids."
