THREE Roman soldiers will be entertaining visitors to the Discovery Centre, in Bishop Auckland, on Saturday, to mark the climax of The Romans exhibition.
They will demonstrate use of weaponry and artefacts. Armour, a religious altar and various costumes will be on display.
A full-size model of a Roman catapult forms the centrepiece of the exhibition.
Admission to the display is free. It will be open tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, from 11am to 4pm. For more information contact (01388) 662666.
