A passenger was recovering last night after thugs threw a brick through a bus window.
The man, who has not been named, was on a bus at the junction between Ramsgate Road and Redcar Road, in Sunderland, at about 5.30pm, when he was hit by the missile.
He was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital complaining of chest pains.
