Tow Law Coors Cup
Lanchester King's Head went down to their first defeat in the competition when they lost the captain's dominoes decider to the visiting Hamilton Row Black Horse. In the pool singles matches the teams shared the points with Harry Wales, Nigel Sands and Davey Wales winning for the King's, whilst Chris Elliss, Dave Allan and Barry Sims replied. The King's edged ahead by the odd point when they took two of the three pool doubles.
The Black Horse were able to draw level when they took the dominoes by the odd point. They had wins from Pat Elliott, Chris Ellis and John Tale managed to take a point for the Castle as the visitors went to their odd point success.
