Leaders Willington WMC went one down to Neil Peveller's first half goal for visitors Wearhead United.
New signing Chris Pickles equalised and sub Dale Parkinson made it 2-1 with his first kick of the game. Anthony White missed a penalty for Wearhead before Ian Woodhall gave Willington a 3-1 win with a late goal.
Roddymoor were the better side for half an hour at Howden Australian but the home side gradually assumed control and ran out 5-1 winners. Kevin Burke (2), Stephen Burke, Shaun Nicholson and Darren Bryan scored for Australian and Michael Watts replied for Roddymoor.
Crook White Swan conceded an early goal from a free kick at Hartlepool Steadfast Security in the Durham Minor Cup. Darren Deuchars equalised but the Crook side conceded another goal from a free kick to lose a close match 2-1.
Crook Wanderers found Shildon Railway too strong and went down 7-2 in the South Durham Bowl. David Pakes and Stephen Emery scored for Wanderers who were second best throughout.
An all-Crook League Weardale Cup clash saw West Auckland Queens Head win 7-2 at Tow Law Cattle Mart. Malcolm Umpleby scored both goals for the losers who never looked likely to halt Queens' progress.
Rob O'Dell put Stanhope ahead against Rugby Club from a 35 yard free kick. Mark Foster equalised to force extra time and penalties. Stanhope keeper Lee Westgarth proved the hero saving two spot kicks and his side went through 4-3 on penalties.
Byers Green St Peters put up a good performance despite going down 3-1 at Coxhoe Athletic. Jeff Morrow scored for St Peters to make the score 2-1 but the home side scored a third goal in the last minute.
Evenwood White Swan suffered a heavy 7-1 defeat at Ebchester.
