SOME Metro rail services will be suspended during part of tomorrow morning to allow operator Nexus to carry out work.
The service will be suspended from Heworth to South Shields, in South Tyneside, and from Heworth to South Hylton from the start of service until about 9am. This is to allow work to continue on the embankment between Heworth and Pelaw.
Services on the Shields ferry will operate as normal.
A bus service will be provided between Heworth and South Shields and Heworth and South Hylton during the suspension of Metro services.
