Billingham Town are looking for revenge when West Auckland visit Bedford Terrace today.

Town were thumped 5-0 by West in the opening week of the season, but feel they can turn the tables.

Manager Allan Robinson said: "We want to continue the good form we've shown in the Vase.

"Our aim this season is to finish in the top six, which would be our best finish."

Defender Richie Gaston is missing because of a groin strain, while West have several players injured, including strikers Jonathan Milroy and Phil McGuire.

Second-placed Brandon could move to within four points of leaders Bedlington if they win at Washington.

They welcome back midfielder Mark Patterson and defender Rob Bowman, while defender Jamie Carfoot has been transfer-listed at his own request.

Washington, who pulled off a surprise against Durham in midweek, have Stuart Dixon suspended, while defender Paul Robinson has a thigh strain.

Billingham Synthonia are without both their main central defenders, Tommy Marron and Chris Fawcett, at Esh Winning, while there is a doubt over midfielder Andy Harbron.

Esh are without Craig Marron because of suspension, but Steve McGovern returns.

Shildon go to Durham City in a repeat of their league cup final last season. Full back Lee Hainsworth returns after suspension for Shildon, but Durham have several injury problems. Former Sunderland midfielder Brian Atkinson and defender Sam Kitchen are both missing, but new striker Lee O'Donovan, signed from Whitley Bay, makes his debut.

Consett will give new keeper Marc Riches, signed from Gateshead, his debut at home to Tow Law in their local derby, but they are still without suspended pair Jonny Brown and Gareth McKenna. Striker Colin McLeod is in line to make his 500th appearance for the club.

Tow Law expect to be unchanged, as striker Andy McKenna, defender Micky Vasey and midfielder Marc Eccles are ruled out.

Dunston will be trying to pick themselves up from their Vase defeat at home to Guisborough, and will still be without defender Steve Holmes because of injury. Guisborough could be unchanged.

Chester-le-Street, who are at Marske United, could include a new defender, while midfielder David Anderson will have a fitness test. Marske are without injured keeper John Jackson.

Peterlee manager Andy Toman might have to turn out against Jarrow Roofing because of the injury problems. Mark Obern, Neil Gutteridge, John Bendelow and David McTiernan are all missing, while Roofing are without Scott Garrett and Michael Irving.

Prudhoe, who are fourth bottom, have several players missing because of injury away to bottom club Newcastle Blue Star.

In the second division, leaders Washington Nissan will give full back Kevin Bruce a fitness test on his hamstring injury before their game at lowly Eppleton. Steve Hutchinson is definitely missing with an ankle injury. Eppleton expect to be at full strength.

Easington, who are second, include new keeper Andy Hogarth from Whitley Bay and midfielder Peter Ould from Seaham in their squad at Hebburn.

Horden, who have games in hand in fourth place, are without suspended midfielder Richard Graham and striker Lee Dixon because of injury at Whickham.

Evenwood need to avoid defeat at Penrith to stay in touch with the leading group. Curt Warburton and Adam Reid will both have fitness tests, while Stephen Houlahan is definitely out because of injury.

Crook Town include three new signings at home to South Shields. Striker Andrew Rose, left back Glen Sweeney and keeper Jason Scotter are all in the squad, while former Hartlepool player Paul Dalton returns.

Northallerton will give centre half Andrew Thompson his first full game for several months when they go to Willington, whose manager Alan Shoulder could include three new signings.
