CLUB members are bowled over with their new equipment after securing a National Lottery grant.
The bowling club at Seaham Leisure Centre was given £1,900 by the Lottery's Awards for All scheme, which helps community organisations. The donation has enabled the club, which has been running for several years, to make badly-needed purchases, including carpets and bowls. Easington District Council's sports officer Brian Slee said: "The new equipment has breathed fresh life into the club. Members are obviously very keen to try out their new equipment."
