Stockton company Francis Brown Ltd has secured orders valued at more than £700,000 following its recent acquisition of local business Chemitrol Process Equipment Ltd.
The take-over of the Eaglescliffe company, which specialises in the design and manufacture of nitrogen generators and air dryers for the oil, gas and process industries, provides a third facility for Francis Brown Ltd and puts it at the leading edge of technology.
The company has predicted growth of 75 per cent for the coming year.
David Brown, managing director, said: "This could not have been achieved without the full co-operation of the team at Chemitrol who clearly rose to the challenge.
"I acknowledge there is still a long way to go, but the foundations are now set and with the continued support of Glyn Evans, co-director, and the rest of the team, I recognise that Chemitrol has the potential to become a world leader in the industry."
Francis Brown Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of refractory lined pipes, pressure vessels, process module skid units and other plate fabrication for use in the petrochemical and processing industries.
The firm employed the help of Business Link during the acquisition.
