NEWSAGENT and convenience store company, Mills Group, is celebrating the success of its specialist magazine website, one year after its launch.

The site www.uniquemagazines.co.uk, which is dedicated to specialist magazine titles, has reached a high of 100,000 hits per month. Customers can purchase publications via the site, have the publications delivered direct to their home or they can collect from their local Mills store. The site offers a range of more than 300 diverse titles.

John Porrett, director of media sales and marketing, said: "I believe the site's popularity is due to the simple idea of a one-stop-shop for specialist magazine titles that often are not available in local newsagents and supermarkets."

The site has been getting hits as well as orders from as far afield as US, India and Portugal
