A THEATRE company is looking for actors, dancers and singers aged between eight and 25 to take part in a production of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
The Dionysis Theatre Company will need a cast of 120 when it stages the musical at the Gala Theatre, in Durham, in August, and will begin holding auditions next month.
In addition, there will be auditions for people aged between 16 and 25 who want to work backstage and musicians are also needed to join the orchestra.
The auditions take place at: Darlington on Monday, February 17, from 10am to 2pm; Durham on Tuesday, February 18, between 10am and 3pm (for backstage roles and acting parts); Sunderland on Wednesday, February 19, from 10am to 2pm; Newcastle on Saturday, March 8, between 2pm and 5pm, and Durham on Sunday, March 9, for places in the orchestra.
