Three goals in the last 20 minutes gave Newton Aycliffe Navy Club a 4-1 victory at Darlington GSOB.

Andy Ryder gave Navy Club the lead midway through the first half with Mally Leafe equalising for Old Boys 20 minutes into the second, Ryder went on to complete his hat-trick with the fourth coming via Mark Silvester.

Hurworth Otter & Fish dominated the first half against the ten men of Darlington AFC Greyhound going in five goals to the good at half time, Grey hound restricted them to a single goal in the second with Richard Maurice scoring a consolation for them. Wayne King playing up front for Otter helped himself to a hat-trick, James Edwards hit a brace with Chris Bellwood rounding off the scoring.

Two goals in the last five minutes saw Darlington Travellers Rest snatch all three points from Bishopton Hoppers Transport who had led one nil through an Ian Thompson goal.

Shildon Elm Road WMC overpowered Chilton Wheatsheaf Wanderers winning ten-one, both Richard Nash and Thomas Louden netted hat-tricks, Darryl Meadows grabbed a pair with one apiece going Carl Dawson and Wayne King In the remaining game Darlington The Mowden had things pretty much their own way against Darlington Skerne Park as the score of eight-nil may suggest, Ritchie Dodsworth topped the days scoring with a double hat-trick, the other two came from James Middleton and Andy Mellis.

After trying for three weeks the club's Durham Minor Cup ties were finally put to rest. All three clubs met Sunderland opposition, Darlington RA Youth were caught cold and found themselves three down after 25 minutes, they managed to pull one back before the break, on the turnround it was a different story as they took control to win 6-3, Darren Kokes hit four with one each for Craig Adamson and Mark Swanwick.
