Following the arrival of the Royal Shakespeare Company at Northallerton Leisure Centre, in February, an insight session and workshop will be held for theatre enthusiasts.

FINE FOODS: A wide range of farm food was on display yesterday at the first farmers market in Easingwold, North Yorkshire. Run by Yorkshire Riding Produce, the market had stalls selling meat, fish, vegetables and cakes. The markets will be held on the third Wednesday of the month.

OFFICE DELIVERY: Moorsfresh - a company which helps local producers supply to local retailers - is piloting a scheme to bring fresh, local produce to offices. The company intends to contact offices across North Yorkshire and start delivering meat, fish, vegetables and soups.

CARE MEETING: Whistle-blowing policies, mental health and the annual budget are on the agenda of a Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust board meeting at Colburn, on Tuesday. The meeting, which is open to the public, is held at the community health and recreation centre at 2pm, with coffee available from 1.30pm.

BUREAU MOVES: Free sessions provided by Richmondshire Citizens Advice Bureau have moved to the doctor's surgery in Easton Way, Colburn, on Thursdays between 10am and noon.
