Although teams had to deal with strong winds they still produced some very good encounters.

Darlington The Mowden and Darlington Travellers Rest had their usually closely fought hard game with Mowden coming out on top with a goal in either half, John Mellis opened the scoring after an excellent solo run to slot the ball past the keeper, the second goal came via the head of Ritchie Dodsworth from a left wing cross.

Two teams at the top of the league, Shildon Elm Road WMC and Darlington RA Youth, fought out a 2-2 draw in another end to end game. Thomas Louden gave the home side an interval lead with young Ross Wetherell striking twice as RA hit back, with ten minutes to go Craig Dawson grabbed the equaliser for Elm Road.

With Aycliffe's grounds closed the Newton Aycliffe v Stillington The Royal game was transferred to Stillington where the Royal made good use of the wind in the second half to come out 4-0. Simon Hares hit a brace with one apiece for Wayne Mulraney and Shaun Campbell.

It was goals aplenty at Chilton where Aycliffe Saints came away with a 10-3 win against Wheatsheaf Wanderers It was 4-3 to Saints at half-time but had the home team put away their chances the scoreline could have been a lot different. Ben Hall topped the days scoring with five, Mick Cave hit a pair with one apiece for John Hall David Morgan and Kyle Hancock, for Wheatsheaf Wayne Clayton hit a double and Brian Jones scored the goal of the match a 35 yard scorcher.

In the remaining game Bishopton Hoppers Transport got the better of Darlington GSOB 2-1 in a tight encounter, Ian Thompson scored their first and midway through the second half Chris Jordan caught the keeper off his line to lob him from around 40 yards, Mally Leafe was again on target for the Old Boys.
