DOMESTIC violence specialists will gather in Sunderland to share expertise.
Representatives from the police, probation service, education, healthcare, social services, voluntary organisations and the city's Domestic Violence Forum will meet to examine cases.
They will analyse what help was needed and how it could have been provided.
The event will take place on Thursday, in Farringdon police station, where forum chairman Detective Chief Inspector Steve Wade serves.
