A KNIFEMAN escaped with cash after a raid on a filling station.
The robber walked into the Total Washington service station in Heworth Road, Washington, Wearside, at 9.15pm on Saturday.
He threatened the sales assistant with a knife, took a small amount of money from the till, and fled outside, where another man was waiting on a dark coloured motorcycle.
The knifeman was about 5ft 10in, in his late 20s, slim, and was wearing a dark green anorak with the hood pulled over his face.
The company is offering a reward of £2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the raiders.
