A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named, appeared before Sedgefield magistrates, County Durham, in connection with a crash in which 13-year-old Liam Richardson, from Ferryhill, was killed.
The boy is also accused of aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident and driving without a licence.
The case was adjourned until March 31.
